ANALISIS KUANTITATIF PERMINTAAN DAN LEAD TIME UNTUK EFISIENSI PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU UTAMA PAKAN TERNAK

Ketidakpastian permintaan dan variasi lead time pemasok berdampak signifikan terhadap efisiensi persediaan bahan baku pada industri pakan ternak. Penelitian ini menganalisis secara kuantitatif permintaan dan lead time sebagai dasar penentuan kebijakan persediaan berbasis data operasional perusahaan pada tiga bahan baku utama, yaitu jagung, bungkil kedelai, dan vitamin premix. Analisis dilakukan melalui perhitungan rata-rata dan simpangan baku permintaan, kebutuhan selama masa tunggu, persediaan pengaman, titik pemesanan ulang, serta ukuran pemesanan ekonomis yang disesuaikan dengan batasan pemasok. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa titik pemesanan ulang masing-masing berada pada kisaran 28 unit untuk jagung, 12 unit untuk bungkil kedelai, dan 5 unit untuk vitamin premix, dengan ukuran pemesanan sebesar 600 unit, 345 unit, dan 147 unit. Penerapan kebijakan ini menurunkan total biaya persediaan tahunan sebesar 83–93 persen dibandingkan kebijakan sebelumnya, sehingga memberikan dasar pengambilan keputusan persediaan yang lebih efisien dan terukur.
