IMPLEMENTASI TEKNOLOGI QR-CODE SEBAGAI PENCARIAN DATA RUANGAN PADA IBI KOSGORO 1957 BERBASIS ANDROID

Abstract
Perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0 pada teknologi informasi sudah mengarah ke penggunaan teknologi digital sebagai media aksesnya. Ditambah pula dengan mulai menjamurnya penggunaan aplikasi mobile dengan menggunakan smartphone membuat teknologi digital berkembang pesat. Dewasa ini mulai maraknya penggunaan QR-Code sebagai teknologi pembaca data membuat banyaknya vendor komputer yang mulai memanfaatkan QR-Code. Berdasarkan perkembangan teknologi tersebut maka muncul-lah ide untuk membuat aplikasi pencarian data ruangan menggunakan QR-Code berbasis Android sebagai media bantu mahasiswa IBI Kosgoro 1957 untuk mencari informasi ruangan. Informasi yang dimuat dalam aplikasi ini berupa petunjuk ruangan dengan QR-Code yang memperlilhatkan informasi letak ruangan dan data ketersediaan ruangan. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) sebagai acuan untuk pembuatan aplikasi. Pengimplementasian dari aplikasi yang dibuat dilakukan dengan cara menginstal aplikasi tersebut pada smartphone mahasiswa, sehingga mereka dapat memilih ruangan dan melihat informasi letak ruangan dosen dengan QR-Code. Diharapkan dengan bantuan dari aplikasi ini, minat dari mahasiswa IBI Kosgoro 1957 dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar semakin mudah dan meningkat.
