Peer Review Process
Mediastima uses Blind Review. The article sent by the writer will be reviewed by the editor previously. The article will be reviewed whether it is within our focus and scope, or has any major methodological weaknesses. All submitted texts that pass this stage will be examined using Turnitin to identify plagiarism before being reviewed by the reviewer. The article will then be sent anonymously to reviewers, Reviewers' comments are also sent to the author to take any necessary actions and responses. The revised manuscript will be decided and later evaluated in the editorial board meeting. the final decision will be sent to the associated writer afterward. An article is reviewed based on this assessment whether or not it is suitable for publication.
Each submission is checked by an editor. At this stage, the editor has the right to reject the manuscript if it is not in line with the journal's objectives, focus and scope of the journal, or the editor feels the quality of the language/manuscript is inadequate. If the article is eligible for publication, editor will send it to two independent reviewers for double anonymous peer review. After the reviewers provide feedback, the editor may decide to accept the manuscript, request minor or major revisions, or reject the manuscript.
